Clinical Expertise in Child & Adolescent Psychosis

Dr. Ruiz-Yu is an Attending Psychologist in Outpatient Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital, specifically the Developmental Neuropsychiatry & Psychosis Program.

She completed clinical training at Judge Baker Children's Center, Massachusetts Mental Health Center/ Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Cambridge Health Alliance. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. She integrates psychodynamic, cultural, family, and biopsychosocial theories in her therapeutic work. Dr. Ruiz-Yu is fluent in Spanish and provides care for Spanish-speaking patients and their families.
